On March 7, Palatine High School will be hosting the 5th annual “Cupcakes for a Cause” event from 11am-2pm. A variety of creatively designed cupcakes will be sold for only two dollars a piece.

While cupcakes are the main point of the event, there will be lots of other things to enjoy. The PEP squad will be performing, along with a collection of PHS musicians. For kids there will be face painting, tattoos, and other activities. Raffles will also be available with chances to win tickets to see the Chicago Bears and  other prizes.

The money raised from the event will be used to support over 150 special ed students, programs and clubs. These groups include the Special Olympics, Best Buddies, PAC Club, Education Life Skills Program, Sped Art Club, On Our Own Club, PEP Squad, Life & Learning Strategies Program and Self Contained Emotionally Disabled Program.

All are welcome to attend and support this important event.
