“My name is Miles and I make cartoons. I’m planning to major in the animation field and going to MIAD (Institute of Art & Design) in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. My hobbies include animation, especially storyboarding. What I hope to accomplish in life is to at least follow what I want to do once I’m older. I feel what I want to be can genuinely get me somewhere and get enough money to at least get myself a place. I would not have to worry taking care of my dog and [my financial situation].”
“My plans once I’m done with college are definitely not staying here. I don’t hate it here but I don’t like staying in one place. I’m planning on maybe moving to Minnesota once I’m older. Minnesota gets really cold during winter but I really like living somewhere near the midwest. I enjoy the feeling of it and I get to experience all four seasons. One regret in life was not applying as early as I could’ve to other colleges. I’m an early graduate, but I wish I could have attended summer programs from art schools to make my life easier. Also to lower the cost of my tuition. It is a pretty low cost [tuition] overall but it would’ve been better if I applied early.”
“I’m not that involved with PHS but I’m very into doing my animations. Sometimes I go to art club. It’s not just to randomly do art but it’s to work on my other classes. I take 3D Arts currently. Last year I would sometimes be there for my photography class and with the digital media class I took as well.”
“If I had to describe my COVID experience, it didn’t feel that much different, I was more of an introverted person then so I just had to do my work at home. That’s something I’m going to be doing a lot when I’m older. Because with my career, I’m going to have to work at home mostly, so it feels like it’s going to be the same thing later on.”
“One band I’m into as of more recently is TV Girl. I really like their music a lot. They only have six albums. I really like how most of their songs tell us how they feel even though a majority of their music is about problems and struggles in relationships. It’s a really good message and lesson.”
