PHS after-school scene: Women’s History Month, sports, and more

Girls at Palatine decorated various articles of clothing, inspired by the themes that “keep them going” during the fourth Women’s History Month Art Happening.

Once the school day ends, activities at Palatine High School don’t just stop. Instead, students can be found competing in sports, studying in the halls, or even designing artwork to celebrate Women’s History Month.

On March 10, Cutlass reporters and photographers went around the school, capturing events that show Palatine’s lively after-school scene.

Cam Smith is a junior at Palatine High School. Along with joining cutlass, Smith is involved in lacrosse, service club and best buddies. His hobbies include hanging out with friends and family, taking care of his dog, watching tv and movies and writing. Smith wants to pursue a career in Psychology.

Sam Gonzales is a sophomore at Palatine High School. This is her first year as a reporter for Cutlass. She is an avid reader and music fan and enjoys many diverse interests in and outside of school, such as designing clothing, being around all things cars, and writing.
