Join the JB for Governor campaign as a student intern!
Student internships are a great way to volunteer for the campaign while you’re in school, or on break, and gain valuable experience in political organizing in Illinois. We’d love your help electing JB, so let us know that you’re in!
This unpaid internship is an opportunity to learn the ins and outs of a grassroots, statewide campaign. Interns will work under the close supervision of staff. High school and college students are all welcomed.
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Currently enrolled as a full or part-time student
- Availability to work up to 10 hours a week.
- Interest in politics and desire to advance a progressive, Democratic agenda in Illinois.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with short deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and have ability to work within a team.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and common sense.
Interns can receive school credit depending on school/degree requirements.
Timeline: Fall/Winter
Internship: Rolling Basis (Flexible with academic calendar)
Winter/Spring Internship:
