Are you the next Stephen King?

Celebrate Halloween by competing in Cutlass’ scary story competion.

Tess O'Brien, Arts and Entertainment Editor

Attention all writers, Cutlass will be having a scary story contest in celebration of Halloween!

Write a story, send it in, and the winner’s story will be featured on the Cutlass website on Halloween.
Even if you aren’t a writer, it’s a fun opportunity to celebrate the season and show off your creativity, so try it out and follow these basic guidelines:
· Keep the story school appropriate– No offensive language and keep the gore to a minimum
· Turn it in on time– Stories submitted past 3:30 pm on Oct. 26 will not be accepted
· Only submit original stories
· Use 1,000 words or less
Once you finish your story, submit it by emailing it to Cutlass at [email protected]. All stories will be due on Sunday, Oct. 26 by 3:30 pm.

If you have any questions or concerns, send an email to the above address or talk to Mr. Berleman or Mr. Leathem in the English Department.

Happy haunting!
