Although the Palatine High School boys cross country team was not able to qualify to sectionals as a team, two boys had the opportunity to run at the sectional meet this past weekend as individuals.

Brandon Waller, a senior, and Jack Casaccio, a sophomore, ran at Hoffman Estates high school this past Saturday on October 31, 2020. Casaccio ran in the first flight of the race and Waller competed in the second.

To determine the final scores of the race the times in all 5 flights were compiled. Waller placed 22nd running a time of 15:55.55. Casaccio placed 42nd finishing with a time of 16:23.28.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic there is no state cross country meet this year, so this marks the end of the cross country season for all runners.
