Palatine defeats Hoffman during “Volley for a Cure”

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month our Girls’ Volleyball Team “VolleyFor The Cure” and netted $2476.14, on Thursday, October 2, 2014, in a match with Hoffman Estates. We raised our funds through a bake sale, ticket sales, a prize raffle and the sale of Pink wristbands.
“Our Palatine volleyball family has been affected by breast cancer on so many diffrent levels.” Coach Joyce Richardson said. “We were so proud to raise over 2400 dollars in just under four hours.”
The funds will be donated to the Susan G. Koman Breast Cancer Foundation with the hope that one day this disease will be cured. Thanks to all who supported the cause.
