    Photo contest winners!

    WINNER! Julia Malska ('19)

Why it won - Of all submissions, this photograph had the strongest composition. It is very well balanced in its use of light and shadow, varying saturation, and subtle use of complementary colors. Like quiet summer nights spent staring at the stars, this photograph provokes as sense of awe for nature and shows us how small we are in comparison to the world that surrounds us, in comparison to the expectations and responsibilities of our day to day lives.
