Palatine High School invites you to come to the auditorium to hear their fantastic choir program this Friday, March 10 at 7:30 pm.

This week Mr. Koehlinger, the new choir teacher will be presenting his first March concert. “He is a great teacher and lots of fun,”sophomore choir student Rachel Heikkinen says. “He knows what he is doing, and has helped me and the group become better singers,”

“I think our program is very strong because there are so many people involved and many of them are involved in more than one part of the music program, like me,” Heikkinen says. “I think all of the people in the music program are very passionate and that really creates a wonderful program.”

All three choirs will be performing at the concert. The groups are Concert Choir, Women’s Chorale, and Mixed Chorus. Each group will sing their own group of songs and then they will all come together to sing a piece. Treble in Paradise, The Guys, and Midnight Blues will also be performing.

Heikkinen is very excited for the upcoming performance. Heikkinen states that her favorite part of being in choir is, “making the beautiful music with people that have the same passion as I do and who all love making music.”

Don’t forget to come support our fantastic choir students this Friday in the auditorium. The curtain rises at 7:30 pm.
