PHS Girls Basketball hosted their Breast Cancer Awareness game on Jan. 25. They went up against Barrington High School.

During the first two quarters, PHS was ahead of Barrington. The teams were quick to react to getting rebounds and handling the basketball.

In the third and fourth quarter, the Pirates started to struggle against the Broncos. BHS was catching up to PHS quickly with successful free throws.
PHS fought hard to regain points with strategic thinking and swerving around players to shoot layups. The Pirates fell short just a few points of winning. PHS lost to BHS 34-39.

Sales from the Breast Cancer bake sale helped raise money for research. Parents and players of the PHS Girls Basketball sold homemade goods and pastries to sell.
