Radio silence for four years is what it felt like for Harry Styles fans around the globe. After Styles concluded his world tour titled, “Love on Tour” for his album “Harry’s House” back in July of 2023, fans have been deprived of new music.
Internet speculation about a new album began to circulate after Styles dropped cryptic hints during early January towards new music on his social media accounts. As it turns out, fans were right.
Styles announced his fourth studio album, “Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally,” which will be released on March sixth of this year. Fans around the world went ballistic, already theorizing that a tour announcement would soon follow.
The Harry Styles worshippers were right once again. On Jan 22, just one week after the album announcement, Styles revealed that his “Together, Together” world tour would be kicking off this May. The first stop would be Amsterdam, followed by London, São Paulo, Mexico City, New York City and ending in both Victoria and New South Wales, Australia.
This came as a great shock to many. During his tours, Styles typically makes stops in numerous cities around the globe. In his last tour, Styles visited 87 different cities across five continents.
Perhaps the most ground breaking news of all is the fact that Styles will be playing 30 nights in the heart of New York City, in the highly coveted Madison Square Garden. His residency will take place on August 26th, all the way up until Halloween. Or, as Styles fans like to say, “Harryween”.
Just one day later on the 23rd of January, Styles gave fans another surprise. At 00:00 UK time, his new single “Aperture” would be released. Along with the release of this single and corresponding music video, Styles announced the official tracklist for “Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally.”
The 12 song tracklist is as follows: Aperture, American Girls, Ready, Steady, Go!, Are You Listening Yet?, Taste Back, The Waiting Game, Season 2 Weight Loss, Coming Up Roses, Pop, Dance No More, Paint by Numbers and Carla’s Song.
Obviously, people were prepared to spend hundreds of dollars on tickets. The ticket presale through Ticketmaster for Amex cardmembers started on Jan 26, the presale for registered fans began on the 27, and general sale began on Jan 30.
As a surprise to no one, Styles sold out every single show, even his 30 night residency in New York. Additional nights were even added in both London and Amsterdam. On top of this, Styles broke the record for the highest number of artist presale registrations in history.
On just about every social media platform, excited, anticipating fans can be seen making videos relating to the tour and getting hyped up. The real question here is if Styles will add more cities to his tour, or keep it as it is now.
Low and behold, Harry Styles is officially back.
